We are very excited to be holding a Christmas Lantern Parade in Scholes park on Saturday 4th Dec at 4pm, starting at the children’s play area. We will meet to sing some Christmas songs and walk through the park with lanterns and lights, finishing on Gatley Green. We are teaming up with the Scouts who will be selling Christmas treats on the Green.

We have held workshops with our local primary schools to make card and willow lanterns and we will be holding a public lantern workshop on the 4th Dec 1pm on Gatley Green. All are welcome with their home made lanterns or lights of any sort to celebrate our beautiful green space at Christmas.
